Show County Discusses Valley Mosquito Control Needs Grand County Commissioners Commission-ers met Monday and heard a request from Lesley and Des Young concerning future spraying for mosquitos in tho valley. The Youngs' requested request-ed that any spray used this year be of a type which would not harm the bees in the area. ar-ea. Commission Chairman Mars Pope indicated that the County is going to try to have a specialist from Utah Stale University come into the area to advise the County on types of spray to use. A quit claim deed was issued is-sued to Paul Voth of a parcel of land between his properly and the Old City Park Road. A stipulation in the deed stated that in the event th? County needs the land for future widening of the road, claim to the land will revert back to the County. In the meantime, Voth will be able to use the land. Final order of business during dur-ing the day was an authorization authoriza-tion to John Keogh to orde.r street signs which are needed for roads in Spanish Valley. The signs will be ordered from the . Utah State Prison. |
