Show New Coursa Schedubd At Center Managing a tourist enr terprise will be the subject sub-ject of a proposed class to be taught at the Southeastern South-eastern Utah Center for Continuing Education during du-ring spring quarter, according ac-cording to Tom Arnold, director of the center. Arnold stated that in order for the class to be offered, 12 students would have to be enrolled. Tha course will then be taught by a team of experts from Utah State University. Since arrangements for the course must be mada by March 12, all interested interest-ed persons are asked to contact the SUCCE office at 253-6111 or 253-4131 as soon as possible. The course will includf such facets of tourist enterprise en-terprise as the profit objective, ob-jective, characteristics of the Utah tourist and how to serve him, the futuro of tourism in Utah, market mar-ket analysis and feasibility feasibil-ity studies, organization, location and property problems, pro-blems, starting a busines3, financial problems, accounting ac-counting and record keep-Jhig, keep-Jhig, advertising and retail re-tail marketing, art of selling sell-ing and motivating man. power. |
