Show Thompson News by Virginia Graver Virginia Gruver came home Monday evening to do her book work and get, some laundry done and some clean clothes. She has been staying in Moab standing by her mother's bed all the time she could. Her mother, Sarah Hale, hasn't talked for several days but now she's back on food and is much improved im-proved and says a few words. She slept for 3 days with intraveinous feeding. It was a shock while Virginia Vir-ginia Gruver was at the hospital, they brought Duke Woods in with a heart attack. at-tack. He was dead on arrival. arri-val. He had just had a checkup and the doctor said he was OK. Where Oh, where, are the taxes leading us to, a revolution? re-volution? More added to our postage, more on the car stickers and now of all things, taxing the little lit-tle camper sialic, that are on the back of trucks and more over the tax on 4-wheel 4-wheel drives. Where did the Park Service get into the car and truck business? We want to know. If these jeeps that rescue people must pay extra taxes. People Peo-ple probably won't be rescued res-cued as soon as they are now. Because so many people peo-ple are going to do away with their four wheel drives dri-ves and there won't be so many to rescue the people if these taxes go on. And they are trying to chase the kids that operate oper-ate snow mobiles up in the mountains back to the back alleys and pot. I understand they are going to make the children get a license to drive a snowmobile. The children that do this are ahvays accompanied by their parents. The ocean is full of water The sky is full of air The earth is full of people And taxes are every where. Are we going to have not a Boston tea party but a world tax party. There's gojng to be a big meeting at SLC for all people to attend, especially especial-ly those that own 4 wheel drives, to discuss these extra ex-tra taxes. |
