Show Red Devil grapplers topped tough Durango jj t In the first wrestling match of the 1979 season, the Red Devil ( grapplers eked out a 31-30 win over Durango High last Friday. F Coach W.E. Leonard stated that i the Devils won six and lost six in the match. The winners were Teddy Green in the 98 lb. class, Jon t Olearain with a 6-3 decision in the 19 class, Robbie Robinson, 132 lb. class, with a 17-2 score, Billy ! Roedel with a fall in the 138 class, ! Jim Key with a fall in the 155 class, f4 and Tom Taylor with a 17-1 score in ! ; the 185 class. :; The next match against Delta, ';' originally scheduled for this Friday, i ; will be held in Moab Thursday, li with J.V. matches beginning at 6 ;! p.m. and Varsity at 7:30. ; Coach Leonard commented that !; Delta will be a tough squad to beat, ' as they have four returning state ' champions.
