Show $7 million comes to Utah The Utah state treasurer treasur-er Friday was sent a check for nearly S7 million from the Bureau of Land Management of the U.S. Department of the Interior. Inter-ior. The $6,924,136, according accord-ing to Paul L. Howard, BLM state director, is Utah's share of mineral revenues tor the six-month period from April 1, to September 30, 1978, and annual fees from grazing and the sale of land and material. Utah receives 50 percent of money collected by the federal government for mineral leases on BLM-administered BLM-administered lands in the state. Mineral revenues added add-ed up to $6,775,224; grazing fees for the past fiscal year totaled $146,924, and money from the sale of land and materials was $1,986. Utah has received from BLM $12,037,816 in 1978 for mineral receipts, grazing fees and land and material sales, Mr. How-ard How-ard noted. |
