Dee TranVr, chairman, gave the ' report on the Safari at he weekly meeting of the yb Chamber of Commerce. The only problem arising from the annual event, Mr. Tranter said, was that there 'ffre perhaps "too many jeeps." A total of 450 rigs braved the bumps and carried 1800 people through the sunny countryside. Broken down by the trails the number revealed the Pritchett Arch Trail to be the most popular with 90 rigs; Porcupine Rim had 75, the Moab Rim lured 56 brave drivers and their passengers; Poison Spider Mesa had 53, Kane Springs had 50, Gemini Bridges, 49; 48 on the Top of the World, with Dry Mesa the smallest with 29 rigs.
