The games teach numbers and sizes and help with the small muscle co-ordination. The Busy Book teaches tying, buttoning, snaps, telling time and a number of other learning tools. Moab Neighborhood meeting meet-ing took place on Monday this week with a combined District VII meeting with the Moab Service team and Carbon Neighborhood Chairman La-Vonna La-Vonna Roberts and Glenda Gibson, both from Price driving down with Jan Oliveto our District Advisor. Discussions Discus-sions were held and decisions made on upcoming events for our District for the Scout year 1975-76 with many plans on various occasions in connection connec-tion with the Bicentennial year. Glenda Gibson, Cadette Leader of Troop 555 in Price who is in charge of the girls going to Mexico in June met w ith the parents of the Moab girls during the afternoon. Senior Troop No. 190 w ill be having a fund raising chili supper at the St. Francis Episcopal Church Friday evening 5:30 to 7:30, adults $1.50 and children under 12 $.75. On Tuesday evening. May 20. Helen Taylor will give a benefit book review at Southeast South-east School at 7:30 p.m. Money donated will be given to the Seniors for their Mexico trip. |
