By Jan Niclsnn On May 9 the Girls Track Team traveled to Blanding to participate in a regional track meet after winning all previous pre-vious track meets by points. The girls were a bit nervous at first but got off to a fine start. The winners are as follows: Laura Acerson. 1st in discus, 2nd in Shot Put; Chris Powell. 7th in Discus, 5th in Shot Put; Pearl Wilcox. 2nd in Javelin, 5th in long jump; Candcc Vctcrc. 7th in shot put. 1st in mile relay; Marion Bastian, 1st in Mile Relay; Lori Hunt. 1st in mile relay, 1st in mile-run; mile-run; Angie Devcreaux, 8th in 4-10, 1st in mile relay. 2nd in 440 relay; Jan Nielson. 2nd in 880 run; Cammie Price. 3rd in 880 run; Stacy King. 1st in 220. 2nd in 440. 2nd in long jump, 1st in 880 relay; Davvna Wilcox. 3rd in low hurdles. 7th in 220 dash. 2nd in 440 relay. 1st in 880; Joni Banasky, 3rd in low hurdles, 7th in 220 dash, 2nd in 440 relay, 1st in 880 relay.
