Show Holy Week Opens Easter Se For Green River Residents Palm Sunday, March 22nd, marked the beginning of Holy Week in Green River. The adult and the children's choirs at the Community Church, under .the direction of Mrs. Wylene Kirk, jomed together in the singing ot ihe traditional "Psalms. Mrs Jacque Jewkes was the soloist ,and Paul Grych did the narration. Palm Sunday evening at 8 ipm. the Chancellor Choir presented the Easier Cantata Canta-ta "Hail, Glorius King!" written by John W. Peterson. Peter-son. Mr. Bill Mobley read the dramatic narration of the Crusifixiion and the Res-isureetion Res-isureetion of Jesus Christ. Mrs. Kirk, again directed the choir, accompanied by Mrs Norma Poiitano at the organ, and Mrs. Marie Mc-Qu-re at the piano. Solo and duct parts added much to the program. On Good Friday, Marcn (27, a special Communion Service will be held at the Comimunity Church from 2 until 3 p.m. Special Easter music will be the order of the day at all the regular Sunday morning morn-ing services. Community wide Sunrisa Services will be held Easter Eas-ter Sunday morning at 6:15 at Goose Point. The location is 4J2 miles north of Dunham's Dun-ham's S & M.
