Show Miller Names New Director For Grocers l.awrcncf W. Alder, Woods Cross, has been named Executive Director (r the Utah Retail Croc-ers Croc-ers Association, according to Ralph Miller, Jr., Moab, Association President. Mr. Alder will succeed II. 'ern liraell who has accepted a position with a national nation-al organization Mr. Alder, who has boon Director of Services for the Utah Potail Croccrs Association for the pa-t six years, will assume his new position effective November No-vember Hi. The Utah Re-tiik Re-tiik (irocers Association, formed in 1U2-1, is one of Utah's largest and oldest trade associations and represents rep-resents the fond retailers of the state. The I'tah Retail Re-tail (irocers Association, is affiliated with the National Na-tional Association of Retail Re-tail (irocers of the United States, (NARCL'S) and so offers representation on local, state and national levels, says Mr. Miller. Mr. Alder will direct all activities ac-tivities of the organiza-ton, organiza-ton, be responsible for tho services now offered to member food retailers and will be editor of the Inter-mountaiu Inter-mountaiu Food Retailer magazine. Mr. Alder attended Salt I.ake City Si holds and intended in-tended the University of I'tah on a Rotary scholarship, scholar-ship, where ho obtained a marketing degreo in loi. He married the former for-mer Carolyn Ranck in 10")3. They have eight children. Mr Alder serves as a member of the Executivu Committee, League of Utah Consumers, is a member of National Food Industry Association Executives and National Food Trade Press. He presently serves as Bishop of the West Bountiful Second Ward. |
