Show Wreck Sooth cf JVlc&b Claims New Mexico Mm Utah's traffic death toll rose Tuesday with the death of a Crown Point, New Mexico man, Wallace Gilbert Largo, 2o, at C:50 p.m. on Kane Springs Hiil south of Moab on U. S. Highway 1C3. Largo was traveling south on a trip from Idaho to Crown Point when he went onto the right shoulder shoul-der of the road and then hit a drain culvert which threw him crossways in the road. He skidded off the road and 153 feet down an embankment and was thrown from the car. Largo is survived by his wife, Sadie, who was following fol-lowing behind him; a son Gilbert, Jr., 3; and Herman, Her-man, 1. The accident was investigated inves-tigated by Deputy Sher-rif Sher-rif Yerl Green of Monti-cello. Monti-cello. He was assisted by Troopers Bruce Black) and Bob Lowe of the Utah Highway Patrol as well as Conservation Officer Del-bert Del-bert Atkins, Deputy Sheriff Sher-iff Randy Standard, and Jeep Posse Commander Max Slack. Deputy Green stated that a number of citizens had been of aid in helping to bring- the body from tha bottom of the incline in a litter. He stated that he wished to commend the people who had helped in this incident. |
