Show City Council Holds Regular Meeting Members of the Moab City Council spent a quiet evening with only one major ma-jor item of business. The purchase of a new electric welder to be used by the shop for both the city and road crews was authorized. This welder, according to Councilman Jack West, w:ll also be used to thaw water wat-er pipes which might become be-come frozen during the winter. The bid ws awarded awar-ded to a Grand Junction firm for ?1,5j3. Loren Laughlin of Utah Gas Service was on hand to report on progress of the feasibility study now-taking now-taking place to determi'V if the City would be ahc:o' to purchase the gas fac: ity. Laughlin also cussed fees for natural service. |
