Show Program on Drug Abuse Slated Here Dec. 2nd A special program on drug abuse will be presented to students at the Junior and Senior High Schools on Dec. 2. The program will deal with drug abuse and its effect on society and the individual. in-dividual. . . , gii fjg, Another program, for adults, ad-ults, will be scheduled for that night at Star Hall. The program will begin promptly at 8 p.m. at Star Hall, and the public is invited in-vited to attend. These presentations are sponsored by the Grand County Highway Patrol division, di-vision, the Grand County's Sheriff's department and the Moab City Police. The discussions dis-cussions will present facts concerning the use of drugs and how they effect the user us-er as well as their implications implica-tions on society. Also included in-cluded In the program will be the legal aspects of drug abuse. Those men who will be speaking at the program will be: Dr. Paul Mayberry, Sheriff Albert Passic of Carbon Car-bon County, and Dr. Robert Leake, Specialist in Health, P.E., Recreation and Safety Safe-ty with the Utah State Department De-partment of Public Instruction Instruc-tion in Salt Lake City. |
