Show . ' ' V . ; bat . i.iwMS J. J. Grant NEW HEAD COACH Principal Thomas Bun-has Bun-has accepted the application appli-cation of Joseph Jeff (J. J.) Grant for head coach for the coming year. Mr. Grant coached the past two years at Turner High School in Turner, Montana, Mon-tana, but family decided to return to Utah. He was a 1970 graduate of Emery County High School. He attended Snow College, Col-lege, Wake Forest University Univer-sity in Winston-Salem, NC and Eastern Montana College in Billings, Montana, Mon-tana, where he received his degree in P.E. with coaching option, and a minor in Social Sciences in 1976. He played a great deal of basketball and is still playing; has toured Mexico, Mexi-co, Italy, Yugoslavia, Turkey, Tur-key, and Spain with basketball teams. He was First team All-State in his senior year in High School, and went on to All-Conference and All-Region All-Region at Snow. Mr. Grant is married, and the couple have three children Robert 4, Stephen, Steph-en, 2 and 6-month old Geoffrey. Mrs. Grant is an accomplished musician and artist, and both of them are active in the LDS Church. They will be moving here as soon as Mr. Grant finishes some summer camp coaching commitments throughout the West. |
