Show I I Juvenile Charged with Burglary following Arrest by Police A juvenile was arrested by Moab Police Dec. 3 charged irith a burglary of the Butch l,Branch home on West Center which took place Nov. 23. At that time, the home was entered and a tape player, pistol and watch were taken. prt of this was recovered when the arrest was made, pulton reported. Six traffic accidents in the jity were investigated recently, recent-ly, On Nov. 29 at 5:55 a.m. at Main and 3rd North, Anita Kelson was backing a 1972 Chevrolet and backed into a 1971 Chevrolet driven by Betty Lumbardie. There was about 5350 damage to the Lumbardie vehicle and $150 damage to the Nelson vehicle. Ms. Nelson was cited for improper lookout, causing an accident. . On Dec. 3 at 10:50 p.m. Jacques Prevost was driving south on Fifth West in a 1968 Chevrolet. He failed to negotiate nego-tiate the turn onto Arroyo Drive and his vehicle rolled, sustaining about $800 damage. dam-age. Prevost was cited for driving while intoxicated. Also Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. in the Sears parking lot, Kristine Allen was backing a 1969 Chevrolet pickup and Hilda Gilger was backing a 1973 Ford. They collided and there was about $200 damage to the pickup and none to the Ford. There were no citations as the accident was on private property. On Dec. 4 at 10:15 a.m. on First North, William Walker was driving a 1972 Scout and hit a 1973 Chevrolet driven by Joanne Key as she was making a right turn into the post office parking lot. There was about $175 damage to the Chevrolet and $100 damage to the Scout. Waler was cited for improper lookoutcausing an accident. At 8:55 p.m. Dec. 4, Daniel Axtell, driving a 1965 Ford, turned onto South Main from Miller's Shopping Center parking lot and failed to yield right of way to Jimmy Fisher. They collided and there was about $250 damage to the Axtell vehicle and $800 damage dam-age to the Fisher vehicle. Axtell was cited for failure to yield right of way and Fisher ' was cited for leaving the scene ; of an accident. On Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. Homer Manson Jr., left his 1974 Oldsmobile parked on First South with the motor running. The vehicle rolled forward and hit a 1966 Chevrolet, belonging belong-ing to Jody K. May, which was also parked. There was about $25 damage to the May vehicle and $250 damage to the Manson vehicle, and Manson was cited for failure to properly secure a vehicle. |
