RESEARCHER STOPS Clell Jacobs, researcher on the Spanish Trail in this area, stopped briefly on Tuesday. He will be back after the first of the year, following the Spanish Trail through this part of the country. He has documented the material from records in New Mexico and Spain, and followed the maps and diaries in the field. His project gets more exciting with every new find, and it is quite wonderful to have this exhausting exhaus-ting research going on before every vestige of campgrounds and trails is lost. |
