Show -"N ' Meet the Business People Who Serve Yon f Featuring This Week: P&K FORD SALES Big things are brewing down I'&K way. Following Jack Payne's recent announcement an-nouncement of his plans for a G'l unit motel-restaurant complex construction is already al-ready underwav. Foundations Founda-tions are currently being laid for Payne's new and expanded expand-ed car wash facility which will consist of fully automatic automat-ic d live-through stalls. A new Ford showroom will be built with plans to start immediately im-mediately and construction on the motel will begin south of the present showroom by September. Old and new personnel are in gear to meet the demands of the expansion program. I.yle Davis, Sales Manager, has been on the P&K team for six years. He is a member mem-ber of the 5 10 club in recognition rec-ognition of outstanding sales ability and has had this honor hon-or for the six years he has been with P&K. Davis is shown in the accompanying photo second from the right. The other personnel shown in the photo are newcomers newcom-ers in the P&K firm but not newcomers when it comes to experience - and they are all well-known businessmen in the Moab area. Harold Jacobs, Jac-obs, second from the left, is the new Parts and Service Manager, formerly with Three States Supply for a period of ten years. Ernest Nelson, on far left, is the new Body Shop Manager who formerly had his own business here, Canyon Body and Glass. Frank Babbitt, on far right, joined P&K after af-ter having six and a half ' years experience with Motor Parts Company. Jack Payne's revamping and construction program includes in-cludes an expansion of the service and parts departments depart-ments as welt as better facilities fac-ilities for four wheel drive units. P&K is in the business of completely servicing and selling Ford and Willys products, pro-ducts, and this service will be increased greatly when the new facilities are com- pleted. P&K usually carries 50 to 70 used units and 15 to 25 new units, making it the largest volume dealer in Grand County. In the showroom show-room are displayed the latest lat-est Ford automobiles with new models of trucks, pickups, pick-ups, four wheel drive vehicles vehic-les available. Payne took on the Mercury, Lincoln franchise fran-chise about six months age, which rounds out the selection selec-tion of automobiles on display dis-play at P&K The company has won a number of Ford sales lead?:-, ship awards including the Gold Car Award for the years 19G2 through 1967; the Gold Truck Award for 1962, through 1967; the Golden Shovel Award for the building build-ing of the present facilities; and several other distinguished disting-uished achievement plaques. P&K is a company with an eye to the future, with vehicles ve-hicles that will match any on the road in style, engineering engine-ering and performance.
