Show Physician Will Move to Moab For Practice Dr. Jerry Peters, of Phoenix, Phoe-nix, this weekend, announced h's plans to move to Moab as a member of the Moab Medical Medi-cal Center staff. He will arrive ar-rive in early July, after completion com-pletion of a surgerv res'dencv at the Maricopa County Hospital, Hos-pital, Phoenix. A native of Lark, North Dakota, Dr. Peters attended Jamestown, North Dakota, College, and the University of North Dakota Medical School. He completed Medical School at Baylor University, Houston, Texas, and completed complet-ed his internship at Phoenix. To fulfill his military obligation, ob-ligation, Dr. Peters spent two years in the U. S. Public Health Service, working one year in the Indian Tuberculosis Tubercu-losis Hospital, at Albuquerque, Albuquer-que, N.M., and one year as a general practitioner at the Indian village of Dulce, N.M., after which he began his surgery sur-gery residence at Maricopa County Hospital. Dr. Peters and his wife, Judy, toured Moab last weekend week-end as guests of Dr. and Mrs Paul Mayberry. The couple commented they had been impressed with the area on past visits, and are looking forward to returning when the doctor completes his residency res-idency in Arizona. |
