Show ETV Featured In Meeting At Boston National recognition will bo accorded to the Educational TV system of Grand County School District later this month in Boston. Ed Drake, assistant to the vice president of GenCoE. Inc. has been asked to join a panel pan-el on the cooperative use cf cable by schools in several communities operated by his company. This panel discussion discus-sion will be a part of the National Na-tional Cable TV Association convention on June 3;lth. Approximately Ap-proximately 2.200 delegates will be in attendance for the 4-day convention. According to Mr. Drake, the Moab effort has been a pioneer pione-er program in small communities communi-ties of the country. It is a tribute to a progressive school board and its administration with a sincere desire to enrich en-rich the normal curriculum to "big-city standards". In operation for several years, the Moab ETV system ha:; been used as a model for cither ci-ther communities. Two years ago, Town Television Tele-vision received a national a-ward a-ward for its local news and public service programs. |
