Gibson Ceremony Joins Couple in Mcsrriage Here m Auqust 31st The marriage of Miss Pauletta Baker, of Moab, and Robert R. Gibson, of Sargent, Nebraska, was 'solemnized iji a 'doubJe-ring 'doubJe-ring ceremony at the First Baptist church Thursday ,evening, August 31st. The hride is the daughter daugh-ter of Mrs. R. B. Stewart, ,of Moab. The groom's mother mo-ther is Mrs. Nona Gibson, of Sargent, Nebraska. Miss Baker chose a light blue lace ensemble for her wedding, accessorized witii a corsage of white carnations. carna-tions. The couple left Saturday Sa-turday for Kerney, Nebraska, Ne-braska, where they will make their home while Mr. Gibson continues his studies at Kerney State College. HERE FROM RENO Mr. and Mrs. Albert M. Watts are visiting friends and relatives in Moab this week. Mr. Watts is a former for-mer Times-Independent em ployee, and is presently engaged in the printing business in Reno, Nev. The former residents were, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Glen Drew, also of Reno, who are also enjoying enjoy-ing tours through the scenic sce-nic areas of Canyon Country. |
