Show i MINERETTE CLUB Boy. Have we ever been busy with our teas, parties, drills and meetings. We, the seniors, did our last drill Friday at the Bingham and Grantsville game and we have j really enjoyed doing them. Wc i ended what we consider a very successful year of drills. Every drill has been entirely original. The way we do this is by dividing divid-ing the club into communities and the girls of each community are responsible for the .origination .origina-tion of a drill. In this way we manage to get a variety of new ideas. The Friday drill was patriotic, in which each girl carried an American flag. The climax of the drill was a pin wheel formed by the girls in which the marching rhythm was marked out by a separate group. On Sunday, February 29, we held our February tea at the home of Roberta and ReNee Johnston. As our guest speaker we were very honored to have Mrs. Evelyn Wood of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Wood gave us an exceptionally ex-ceptionally fascinating and worth while talk on dating. The tea chairman was Idele Klonizos and her committee members were Catherine Chipian, Helen Austin, Roberta Johnston, Esperama Ag-uayo, Ag-uayo, Evelyn Klonizos, Valeta Nevers and Zenida Aguaya. Our annual formal party is to be held Friday, March 5 at the high school gymnasium. |
