Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS state engineers office salt lake city utah december 16 1931 notice Is hereby given that the utah southern oil co whose principal place of business is salt lake city utah has made application in accordance with the requirements of the session laws of utah 1919 to 1929 to appropriate 01 of a c f s of water from a spring area in clearwater canyon in grand county utah said spring area Is in an unnamed canyon which drains eastward entering salt wash at a point about mile N W of what Is known as Turn bows cabin the area Is formed from several small springs emanating further up the canyon over a distance of about alle and arising and flowing from a fault which forms one wall of the canyon said water Is to be collected at a point which bears S E 6 miles from the NE cor sec 36 T 23 S R 20 E S L B M and conveyed a distance of ft where it will be used from january ast 1st to december of each year tor well drilling and camp purposes at the utah southern oil co well known as balsley no 1 in the salt valley oil structure this application is designated in the state engineers office as file no all protests against the granting of said application stating the reasons must be by affidavit in duplicate accompanied with a tee of LOO and tiled in this office within thirty 30 days after the completion of the publication of this notice GEO M BACON state engineer date of first publication december 24 1931 date of completion of publication january 21 1932 |
