| Show THOMPSONS MAN FINED ON BOOZE CHARGE tom of thompsons Thomp sons pleaded guilty friday to possession ot liquor and was fined by justice of the peace C L christensen s home at thompsons Thomp sons was raided wednesday night by sheriff J B and deputies R D westwood and A A taylor jr one pint of liquor and a large number of empty containers were found he posted pending his appearance in justice court friday at which time he was brought into court by deputy R T edwards he drew the maximum fine which he paid arrested on liquor charge sheriff J B and deputies R D westwood and A A taylor jr while at thompsons Thomp sons last wednesday found five pints of liquor in the car of dr E H walker of sego the officers had gone to thompsons Thomp sons to raid the house of tom the walker car was parked near the house A search of the house revealed one pint of buquor while five pints were found in the car dr walker was in the car and was placed under arrest on a charge of possession he was arraigned yesterday in the court of justice of the peace 0 L christensen and pleaded not guilty through his attorney knox patterson he requested a trial by jury and the rase was set for hearing tomorrow friday at 10 a m it Is understood that dr walker claims that when he saw the officers coming hid the buquor in the car without his walkers knowledge or consent was arrested on a charge of possession pleading guilty and was fined |
