| Show CRESCENT EAGLE TO START ACTIVE WORK GET NEW LEASE AND DRILLING WILL BE WAY BEFORE AUG 1 drawing of a new lease agreement between the crescent eagle oil company and the brendell company of pittsburgh as a preliminary step to big drilling operations on the proper ties of the crescent eagle company in southeastern utah by the pitts burgh concern has been completed and the contract forwarded by air mail to pittsburgh for signature this information obtained from officials of the crescent eagle company is supplemented by further information that wire confirmation that the contract will be signed has been received it Is understood that under the new contract the brendell company agrees to start active drilling operations on the crescent ground on or before august 1 and that active operations shall be continued it Is reported that the brendell company has shipped a carload of new equipment which should arrive in utah within a few days for transfer to the drilling ground and that it is planned by the company to have big drilling operations under way considerably sider ably in advance of the tune called for in the new contract the pittsburgh company took a lease and agreement on the crescent eagle ground last year and studded in a well but because of circumstances the nature of which have not been made public little further work haa been done the brendel company it is learned asked that a new contract be drawn and assured the crescent eagle company that it Is now prepared to start and continue operations on a big scale on the southeastern utah ground |
