Show EXTENDS WELCOME TOpiEN Provo Decorated in Honor of State Association Meeting. (Special to The Telegram.) PROVO, Aug. 15. Thirteen fire departments de-partments of the stste are represented at the fourth annual convention of the Utah Stste Fire association, which opened here this morning for a three- dsy convention. Eighteen delegates sre in attendance. The eity ia dee-orated dee-orated gaily ia honor of the visitors. The delegates were welcomed by W. B. Ward, ehairmaa of the local department depart-ment reception committee, on behalf of the local firemen. Mayor W. H. Kay welcomed them on behalf of the eity, seconded by B. R. Irvine, Jr., president presi-dent of the Provo Commercial club. W. W. Wilson, president of the State Firemen 'a association, responded on behalf be-half of the association, aad called ths convention to order. Today ia being spent in the transaction transac-tion of routine Dusineea and hearing addresses.
