Show IMCH FRUIT FOR M VISITORS (Special to Tha Tele rani.) WTLLARD, Aug. 13. Willard's aa-Baal aa-Baal harvest horaa celebration will b held Thursday, September 15. Several hnadred ormer resident of the town are exported to attead the festivities. Arrangementa for this pleasant part of th dav's festivities ara In the handa pf Emma Mason and Owen-nle Owen-nle Balrd. and they promise that there will be plenty' of eatables for tha large ' number of visitors. During the entire afternoon free peaches, melons, cantaloupes, grapes, p. plea and all other klnda of fruita will ba distributed. An abundance of every kind haa already bean donated, and every per-eon per-eon can have all that ha or aha zan possibly eat. Besides the fruit distributed there will be a great amount af it on eihlhltion and fancy prises will be given to tha persons having the best samplea of the various fruita. After the prises are given this same choice fruit will be distributed to tha visitors to take home and eat and admire at leisure. - Special rates hav IWn secured from all I'tah and Idaho points and a banner crowd la -xrcted. Both th Oregon tlhort Line and tha Interurban roads will nu special cars. Attractions of various kinds, besides thoa enumeratasd. are being arranged for the afternoon. The day's celebration will be brought to a cloae with a Wlllard ha it ft home dance in the opera hall. |
