Show HALLI3AY FUNERAL NEXT WEDNESDAY James Eugene Halllday. II years old. employed at the Stud baker Bros.' gar- J age. Second East and Second South street, who backed an electric automobile belonging to Mrs. Joseph L. Rawlins Into lost control of tha machine on tha garage gar-age floor at J:l o'clock Saturday afternoon, after-noon, died at I o'clock that afternoon at Groves L. D. 8. hospital. Ths funeral will he held Wednesday. As the csr fell Into the elevator shsft tt turned over, throwing Halllday head first Into the shaft. He fell clear of the machine, but was bleeding from the ears and mouth when picked up. He waa hurried hur-ried to the hospital and died without regaining re-gaining conerlousness. Halllday's law was fractured snd he slso suffered a fracture of the skull at the base of the brain. Halllday was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Oeorge t. Hslllday. and lived with his parents at 140 West North Temple street. His parents and his sister were visiting with friends In Hooper, near Ogden. They did not reach the city until t o'clock, when the sad news of ths young man's death waa broken to them by Bishop F. S. Tlns-ev of the seventeenth werd. a close personal friend. Young Hatlldav was' engaged to be married to Miss Mildred Cuddv. 4l Fifth East street. She Is now visiting friends near Portland. Or. Mr. Halllday was a moat popular young man. He had served the Mormon church ss a missionary in Sweden, and was a teacher In the seventeenth sev-enteenth ward Sunday school, and was also sctlve In the work of the Mutual Improvement association of that ward. He Is survived by his parents, one brother snd one slater, all of whom live In thla city. The funeral services will be held at t o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the seventeenth ward meeting house. First North between Weat Temple and First Weat street.. Bishop F. B. Tlngev will preside. The ward choir will furnish ths music.
