I A criminal charae In addition to- tha l chanre of perjury was filed by the county attorney yeaterday. The complaint alleges al-leges that aha Is tha consort of W. C. Douglas, while still tha legal wife of Albert Al-bert McPhea. from whom it Is alleged she has never secured a divorce. In the Whitney caae Mrs. Douglas testified tes-tified that aha owned soma of tha diamonds dia-monds claimed by Dlehl to have been stolen from him. She said that her former for-mer husband, Albert McPhaa. bad given them to her. McPhea was brought hero to testify in th rasa. We denied having given her tha diamonds, bat his testimony was struck out.' aa he declared that she waa still Ms legal wlfa. there never having hav-ing been a divorce. |
