By amendment, however, these two separate districts were eliminated elimi-nated after a warm discussion. There waa little protest raised to eliminating the Salt Palace grounde, hut aeveral of ihe counclltnen- were opposed to taking away the license of the Warm Springs saloon on the ground that It would put a man out of business who had run for years and about whose place thens had Been no complaint. However, the district dis-trict waa finally eliminated by a vote of eleven to three, Councllmen Fernstrom, Hotley and I-eee voting for the saloon and the remainder against It.
