Tha last And was made at a point 21S feet from the lowest worklnga fn the property, the sixth level, and the drifting on ths ore to the south Is now being done with as much haste aa conditions will permit. , This working In the Zack shaft looks very promising at thla time. The owners, have gone down In their pocketa to i prove up a mineral estate that promises I to rank with some of the big mines of that oamp. and Superintendent James Qulnn Is much elated over the recent development, de-velopment, a it proves the correctness of the theorr on which he and company engineers hsd plannM the location of the ore deposits. He haa sent in some fine samples of thla ore to tha local offices of the company, with th additional information in-formation that tha entire ore body will easily a vet see' per cent- loppce, with additional good vshiea In both silver end gold. The ore is found In the sulphide one, and part of It Is high grade which will Increase ths general average of the deposit. Ths vein has flsttened out considerably which will give tha company about 200 feet of bark a between tha 600 and X levels and as this vein has been proven up for a tons; dlstsnce on the boo, the find on the to aasures the company, a large tonnage Qf ore much of whU'h Is of shipping grade. Ths extension of the drift to the south on the 000 is the only work that will be don for th present by tha Ely Consolidated.
