McClure of the National Wool-g Wool-g rowers association, speaking of the legislative legis-lative situation In conference to the proposed pro-posed revision of the wool tarHJT said: "Had the Underwood wool tariff bill been introduced for the destruction of the wool and sheep Industry It could not have been better tlmefl. The total wool clip of the I'nlted States la placed upon tha market mar-ket between May 1 and July 1. Thla year the clip will be Mn.Oftfl.Ooo pounda and It will be reduced In price from I to 7 rents a pound by reason of this agitation. The farmers will be Injured In every state tn the union, for the preliminary report of the census bureau for 1910 shows 48.92 sheep owners tn the United States.
