Show ELUS PAY PRETTY TRIBUTE TQ FLAG Ths Salt Leavks lodge of Elks observed 1 Flag day last night with beautifully im-preeelve im-preeelve ceremonies at the clubhouse on State street. The house waa crowded with members and friends of the order. The lodgeroom waa decorated with American flags and bunting. James DevTne delivered a stirring address ad-dress in which he spoke touchlngly of the Elks' duty to the flag and of the1 prl net plea for which It stands. Ths Elks' tribute to the flag waa delivered by Parley Par-ley P. Chrletensen, and the flag record waa given by P. H. Hopkins. Exalted Ruler Salathtel Fwing, Eequlre G. A. Light and other officers of the lodge conducted con-ducted the ritualistic ceremonies, which were concluded with the public declaration declara-tion of allegiance to the flag bv all of the membera of the order. Patriotic song were sung by a Quartette and by the audience. |
