Show BABY ISID0R FOUND A NICE, SHINY WIRE NAIL; PUT IT IN HIS MOUTH XEW YOR-K, Jan. 17 Baby Isidor, a year and some months old, found a wire nail, bright and shiny. He put it in his mouth, choked, strangled a bit and began to cry. The nail disappeared. From that hour the baby began to droop. His mother. Mrs. Berkowitz. of Forsythe street, exhausted all her own experience and that of elder women of a community where babv raising is a science. Little Isidor choked, wailed, struggled, grew feverish and wasted in flesh for six months or more. An X-ray picture of the concealed interior of the patient's breathing apparatus ap-paratus was taken, and the picture located the nail in a bronchial tube. The specialist thrust his forceps down into the bronchial tube, caught the nail and pulled it out. The bahy is now rapidly recovering. |
