Show SuptJensen Advises Study in Economy in a letter addressed to the superintendents of Instruction of the various counties. Dr. C. N. Jensen, ststs superintendent of public instruction, calls attention to the reported waata of school materials by pupils. All pencils, paper snd school supplies ought to b checked up 'carefully, the letter advises, and children ahould be made to feel their responsibility in economising much as possible. In many districts It Is tha practice prac-tice -to use paper eovera on text books, thereby snaking them laat longer. H is suggested that more of It bo practised, and also thst more rebinding of books be done.
