Cannon, Jr.. dropped dead oi the sidewalk near his home,' Mis Soutl Ninth Beat street, at about 9 3" o'clock this morning. Hla death was due to valvular heart disease. He had been suffering suf-fering with ssthma for several months, and, while he was known to be In 111 health, hla death waa sudden and unexpected. unex-pected. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon In the thirty-first ward chapel. The decedent was born In Salt Lake City, September It. 180. When he was 3 months of sge his parents moved to St. Georae. Utah, where the family lived until ha waa 7 vaara of ago. Sines that time ha has resided In Salt Lake City, with the exeeotlon of year he spent in Idaho. For several years Mr. Cannon was city circulator for the Rocky Mountain Bell Telephone company. He held this position posi-tion until the company sold out. His latest employment was with the Sprint: Canyon Coal Company as traveling; salesman. About two months ago ha went to Los Angeles on a buslnaas trip for the company, where he waa taken sick. He was at the home of Ms daughter. Mrs. Louis C. Lutxen of Los Angeles when he became 1)1 and she accompanied him to Salt Lake. He never recovered from this attack. His widow, formerly Mlaa Katherine Lynch, survives him, and also his father. Annus M. Cannon, for twenty-fight years B resident or the Salt Lake stake of the ormon church. Mr. Cannon has always bean a devoted de-voted member of the Mormon church, but has never taken a prominent part in church work. The following children, besides the widow and father, survlrs: John C.
