Scores of grade and high school students throughout the state are now working on manuscripts and a large number have already been received by the Ksaay Content Kdttor. The competition Is open to All students of grade and high schools. The theme of the essays- must deal with the life and achievements of George Washington, (iet start-f start-f ed, hoys and girls, and begin the preparation of a manuscript today. In case of a tie for any of the prises, the Judges will award the full prise to each contestant. Kssays must not exceed 800 words in length. Neatness, legibility, punctuation and general appearance of manuscripts manu-scripts will be considered In determining de-termining the winners. . All KsMiys should be addressed to the Kssay Contest Editor of The Telegram. Only one side of paper must be written upon. All manuscripts must be fn The Telegram office not later than midnight of February 22. Students of universities and colleges col-leges of the state will not be eligible.
