Show PLUMBERS ASK RESTRICTIVE LAW Would Close Business to All Not Duly Licensed An ordinance providing for the establishment es-tablishment of a board of examiners for master and Journeymen plumbers waa presented to th city commission yesterday by Commissioner A. H. Crabbe, head of parks and public property prop-erty department. The ordinance was laid over until next Tuesday for consideration. con-sideration. The ordinance was prepared by City Attorney W. H. Folland, after the com-I com-I mission had been asked for such a measure by a delegation of plumbers. The proposed rrtlnancereqqlres that -master plumbers file a bond of (10.000 upon being granted a license and that rigid examination be given every man who does plumbing work. The board of examiners would consist of the chief plumbing Inspector, the superintendent superin-tendent of sewers, the health commissioner commis-sioner and two plumbers to be appointed ap-pointed by the city commission. |
