Show v i ... Christmas Social A delightful dinner party ushered ush-ered in Christmas week for No. 1 Firemen's auxiliary Monday evening ev-ening when a hot dinner was served to 25 by Mrs. Boyd J. Nerdin, Mrs. Eugene Jenkins Sr., Mrs. Hosmer Peterson and Mrs. I Verio Kendrick, Red tapers in white holders and Santa Claus tapers set in holly and pine boughs, candy filled Christmas bells as favors and miniature angels an-gels as placecards were table decorations. de-corations. A lighted Christmas tree, snow village and other Christmas scenes added to the holiday atmosphere. Christmas carols were sung after which gifts were exchanged and bridge played. Prizes went to Mrs. Wesley Wes-ley Longfellow, Mrs. Eugene Jenkins Jr., Mrs. John Osoro, Mrs. Lon Rawlings and Mrs. Jenkins Jen-kins Sr. Next meeting of the auxiliary aux-iliary will be January 9. |
