Show COPPERFIELD Valeta Nevers Ph. 505W Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Backman of Salt Lake City are the proud parents of a son born December 19 at LDS hospital. The young fellow weighed nine pounds and has been named Bruce. Mrs. J. W. Anderson spent Sunday and Monday visiting in Nephi with her sister, Mrs. Henry Hen-ry Painter. Lee Halverson of West Jordan, formerly of Copperfield, spent Tuesday and Wednesday visiting with Garland Bray. Mrs. Tony Jaterka returned home Saturday from St. Mark's hospital in Salt Lake City. Valeta Nevers spent the week end visiting in Midvale with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Er-nest A. Ottley. During her stay she also visited with Mr. Max Prisby and family of Union tnd at the home of Mrs. Kyle Cheney Che-ney and family of Salt Lake. The Christmas program held at Copperfield school Wednesday night included a miniature candlelight can-dlelight service and a cantata presented by students of Copper-field Copper-field school. All students of the school participated in the services servic-es which featured songs, verse and poetry. o |
