Members of the city commission, state aeronautical commission and airport personnel okehed three new pieces of equipment purchased pur-chased to keep th mile-long runways clear of snow, a job which will be manned by airport per-1 sonneL heretofore has stumped officials. The equipment, purchased by the city and paid for by $14,000 in taxes collected from sales of aviation avia-tion gasoline, includes a four-wheeled, four-wheeled, six-ton truck with roto blade attached to blow snow from the paths or to load into other trucks: a m-ton truck with the conventional- type snowplow, and a rotating brush hauled by a tractor to remove snow from flush type runway lights.
