Show Ladies' Literary-Club Literary-Club Session Is To Hear Educator At the general meeting of the Ladies' La-dies' Literary club Friday at 1 p. m., Mr. Robert Hill Lane, assistant superintendent su-perintendent of schools of Loa Angeles, An-geles, will discuss "Current Changea in Education and Their Significance to the Citiien." The musical program, pro-gram, consisting of two groups of vocal selections by Mrs. Elisabeth Hayee Simpson, accompanied by Mra. Florence Brown Hoffer. will be: (a) "Romanio" ("La Wally"). by Catalinl; "Mio Eabblno Cam" ("Gianni Scchichi"). by Tuccinl; "Ouvre Ton Couere," by Blcet; b) "Me Company Along" and "Animal Crackers." by Hageman. and "Contrary "Con-trary Mary," by Mallote. Hoeteas for the day will be Mra. C. N. Sargent. Sar-gent. The civics parliamentary law section sec-tion will meet at 10 a. m. Tuesday at the Public Safety building, where Judge Reve Beck Bosons will speak on "Law Enforcement." Then the section will return to the clubhouse for the parliamentary law leaaon Mra. B. Roland Lewis on "Titiea of Presiding Officera." The arts snd crafts section wlU meet at 11 a. m. Thuraday for tu regular morning work session. A box lunch will be served, after which the aection will leave the clubhouse for a tour of the Purity Biacuit company, conducted by Mr. George C Eulberg. The Browning aection will meet for luncheon Saturday at 1 p. m. "Charles Lamb" will be presented by Mrs. Philip Schonert. The Browning lesson will include "Caliban" "Cali-ban" and folk poems. Members unable un-able to attend the luncheon are requested re-quested to notify Miaa Linda B. Jesaup or Mra. John W. Ensign. Mias Jesaup ia the hoeteas for the day. |
