Show 4U' Frosh and Idaho Grid men Will Be Dance Party Guests By FAT FATTERSON Freshman students at the University of Utah and football players of the University of Idaho will be the honored guests at the informal dancing party to be given Saturday evening in the ballroom ball-room pf the Union building. The affair will bring to an end Freshman Fresh-man week and will also celebrate the football game held that afternoon after-noon in the University of Utah stadium. Miss Shirley Evans, queen of' freshman week, and her two at-tendaala. at-tendaala. Miss Patricia Smith and Mias Marco Stohl, will reign during dur-ing ths evening. Bill Cooms will act aa chairman, his committee consisting of Misa Beverly Belts, Miss Marsha Balllf, Misa Pauline Gordon, John Eld-ridge, Eld-ridge, Edward Mabey and Jack Foreey. Patrons and patronesses for the evening will be President and Mra. George Thomaa, Dr. and Mrs. Adam S. Bennion, Dr. and Mrs. Orin A. Ogilvis, Dean and Mrs. LeRoy E. Cowles, Dean Myrtle Austin and Dean and Mra. John L. Balllf Jr. Sigma Chi Active and pledge members of ths Sigma Chi fraternity entertained enter-tained at an unusually arranged scavenger and treasure hunt on Friday evening. Dancing and a buffet supper followed at the chapter chap-ter house, 13M East First South street. Bowls filled with autumn leaves, pumpkins and shocks of wheat decorated the rooms. Grapes, apples ap-ples and berries arranged in a large pumpkin centered the serv-inr serv-inr table. Delta Delta Delta Mothers The Delta Delta Delta sorority mothers' club will meet Monday at the chapter house, 1431 East First South street Luncheon will be served at 1 p. m., after which the life of Sarah Bernhardt will be reviewed re-viewed by Miss Marion Morris. Hostesses for the dsy will be Mrs. W. O. Robinson, Mrs. L L Graham. Mrs. F. W. Sellwood and Mrs. 8. J. Stephenson. PI Beta Phi The Pi Beta Phi holding committee commit-tee will meet Monday at g p. m. at the chapter house, 02 South Wol-cott Wol-cott avenue. I'niveralty of Utah Mothers A meeting of the University of Utah Mothers' club will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. In the Little Theater of the Union building. A lecture and demonstration of I the modern classical dance will be given by Mrs. Margaret Burton. Mrs. Louis P. Perkins is in charge of ths program. Hostesses include Mrs. James Ingebretsen, Mra. A business meeting will follow after which a musical program will be glvsn. Phi Mu Mothers Ths mothers' club of the Phi Mu sorority will hold s business meeting meet-ing and election of officers on Monday Mon-day at 1:30 p. m., at ths chapter house on Butler avenue. Chi Omega Alumnae A carnival and bataar will be given October 14. at the Art Barn, by alumnae members of the Chi Omega sorority. All alumnae, active ac-tive and pledge members havs been invited to attend. The basaar will open at 11 a. m. and continue throughout the day, and during the afternoon bridge and tea will be enjoyed.
