Show 'AUTO MAN SEES GROWING TRADE Vision of ' constant growth and expansion of the American automobile auto-mobile Industry through Increased trade with Central and South American countries was seen In Salt Lake City Friday by J. W. McLaughlin of Detroit, used vehicle vehi-cle manager af the Dodge division of Chrysler corporation. Mr. McLaughlin was here to conduct con-duct a promotional meeting for spring activity.' He addressed about 100 dealers, salesmen and field representatives at a noon luncheon meeting at the Hotel Utah and at a sales conference which followed. The executive pointed out that with Europe at war, American trade naturally turns to the western west-ern hemisphere. He predicted great Importance will be laid on the Pan American highway which possesses possibilities for a great trade expansion between American countries. Mr. McLaughlin came here with Dan L. Berk of Seattle, regional manager. The Lyman Motor company, com-pany, Inc., intermountain distributors, distribu-tors, was represented by L. H. Brockbank, manager, and Ted Hinckel, assistant manager. |
