Top-notch shooters from Montana, Mon-tana, Wyoming and Idaho and other parts of the west were on ' hand. Also among them was George Morton, Douglas, Wyo, who took the Wyoming state title last week.- OGDEN, June 25 Firing began Friday at 9 a.m. . in the annual state championship shoot of the American Trapshooting Assn. at the Ogden Gun club traps.- The meet continues Saturday and Sun-1 day. . I Shooters from all over Utah and j many from out of state were on hand for competition in the big meet, sponsored by the ATA and : the Ogden Gun dub. First event in the morning firing t was the class championship, and , the doubles firing was progressing j Friday afternoon. Singles, handicap and Calcutta ; are set for the two remaining days, and women's competition will be staged also. Trapshooters from -all over the west began to flock to the gun club traps as early as Wednesday, but were out in full force Thursday Thurs-day afternoon for practice rounds.
