Show Music Conf st 4 Vocalisfs To Vie in Song Finals i - The cream . of Utah's . young vocalists was skimmed again Friday Fri-day as famed opera star Richard Bonelll selected the four finalists for 7:30 p.m. auditions in The Salt Lake Tribune-Salt Lake Telegram's Tele-gram's music scholarship contest. Appearing with 11 semifinallsts Friday morning in KALL studios, the four selected performed "remarkably "re-markably well," said Mr. Bonelll. Those selected were LaVerne Thompson, 22, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Thompson, Roy, Weber county; Joy Tangren, 23, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Tangren. Provo; Walter Richardson, 23. son of Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Richardson, Provo, and Mrs. Flora Lundahl Nielsen, 21, Logan.
