Show GOP Lake Fete Slated Today Thousands of G O P worker and follower were expected to gather Saturday afternoon and evening to attend the annual outing of the Republican Club of Utah at Salt-air. Salt-air. LaMarr Duncan, general chair- man, announced. The outing will serve aa a time and place for Republican candidate candi-date for high political offtree to take a few verbal punches at their opponents. Party workers and members from all over the state will participate par-ticipate in the program which begins be-gins at ( p.m. with a picnic dinner. At a program at 7 p.m. keynote speakers will be Gov. J. Bracken Lee and Wallace F. Bennett and State Sen. Rue L. Clegr. wno are candidates for the Republican nomination for United States senstor. Mrs. Ivy Baker Priest, GOP national committeewoman for Utah, and candidate for comcress from the Second district, will be mistress of ceremonies. She will be Introduced by Rendell N. Mabey. |
