Ground Rites Slated for Valley View Iq about a year, members of Valley View ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, expect to move into their new chapel at 20th East and 29th South, ground for which will be broken Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. In attendance at groundbreaking ground-breaking ceremonies will be LeGrand Richards, church presiding pre-siding bishop. Recreation Hall The building will include a chapel to the front, with a recreation rec-reation hall behind the chapel and two floors of classrooms in wings to either side. Because Be-cause of the slope of the land, the chapel will be on a level midway mid-way between the two floors of classrooms in the left wing. Designed to accommodate two wards, the building will have 8 entrances on both sides of the chapel and other double facilities. facili-ties. May Open Walls In case of large attendanceat meetings, walls may be opened between the chapel and recreation recrea-tion hall. On the floor above the corridor there is to be a "cry room." With the exception of the chspel, there will be no plastering plaster-ing inside the building. Four-inch Four-inch concrete blocks will be painted, providing different color schemes in the rooms. Bleached Oregon fir will be used for inside trim.
