Saturday held office ai senior vice commander of the Disabled American Amer-ican Veterans, elected at closing-session closing-session of the group's 29th national na-tional convention. Boniface R. Maile, Detroit. 37-year-old veteran of World War II was elected national commander by the 4000 delegates. The parley called for Pres. Harry S Truman to conscript capital, labor and industry along with military personnel, to "contribute "con-tribute to permanent peace for the world by eliminating the principal prin-cipal cause of all wars, the greed of men and nations for profits." I New DAV Official Star In Utah School Athletics PROVO (Special) Roland A. Jensen is a native of Mantua, Box Rider county. He Is a graduate of Bormaer itl;m school and Brig-' ham Young university. At both schools he was prominent prom-inent in athletics and was one of B Y U s leading football ends. After graduating from BYU he coached one year at Malad, Ida., high school. He was in the U. S. navy more than two yeara. serving as instructor of physical education at Baltimore and Norfolk, Nor-folk, Va., naval installations. He has been Provo end state commander of the Disabled American Amer-ican Veterans. Mr. Jensen is manager of Geneva Gen-eva Transportation Co. at Provo. Hia wife is the former Nelda Spendlove.
