Show Baked Creamed Codfish Makes Delicious Main Dish Suggesting a tempting and simple dinner with tha main dish of Baked Creamed Codf.sh, Mrs. Douglas B. Baked Cream Codfish 1 cup flaked codfish 2 teaspoons minced onions 3 cups medium thick whit sauce not salted Grated Americsn cheese Bread crumbs 1 hard cooked eggs, psrsley, if deelred. Cover the risked codfish with cold wster, sdd the minced onion, bring to a boil and drain. Mix one cup of cream aauce with one cupful cup-ful of flaked codfish, put In bottom of well buttered baking dish and sprinkle lightly with grated cheese. Pour the rest of the cream ssuce over It and cover with fresh bread crumbs and another light sprinkling of grated cheese. Dot generously with butter and bake In oven of 875 degress for 30 minutes or until crust is brown. Garnish with slices of hard cooked eggs and minced parsley before serving. Make cream saucs this way: Cream Sauce 3 tablespoons of butter 2 tablespoons of flour 2 cups milk Blend flour and butter. Add milk. Stir until thick, smooth snd creamy and remove from fire.
