Show SUSPECTED THIEF IS TURNED LOOSE COOPERSTOWN, N. Y.. Nov. 18. William Wil-liam Coleman of New York, who has been confined In Jail here since last August, has been released, the grand Jury having failed to find an Indictment. Coleman was arrested on suspicion of connection with the stealing of Jewels valued at nearly J50.000 belonging to the wife of F. Ambrose Clark, stepson of Bishop Potter. The safe where the Jewels Jew-els were kept, was entered during the noon hour and the treasure boxs taken to the cellar and opened. The robbery was not discovered until several hours afterward. No tangible clue to the thief wae ever obtained. |
